Watercraft Inspection Program Ready for May 14th Fishing Opener

The Land Services Department’s 2022 Aquatic Invasive Species program is ramping up to coincide with this year’s fishing opener on Saturday, May 14th. Watercraft inspectors will be active on boat landings within the county starting May 14th.

Septic System Upgrade Assistance Program


Crow Wing County has received $60,897 in grant funds from Minnesota Board of Water & Soil Resources and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency to provide funding to replace or protect septic systems for low-income residents.

Pick A Mile Program kicks off second year to assist in county road cleanup

The Pick A Mile program was first introduced June 2021 for residents to pick a mile of county roads to help in roadside cleanup. An easy to use app allows residents to reserve an available stretch of road to cleanup as a family, business or organization.
