What paperwork should I bring to my appointment for compensation?
Please bring the following:
1.) Copy of your DD 214
2.) Social security numbers for all dependents under the age of 23
3.) Bank routing number and account numbers for direct deposit
4.) Medical records showing diagnosis for claimed disability or the address where records can be obtained

Can I get assistance for Optical & Dental coverage through the VA?
Yes, veterans who have a disability of 10% or greater are eligible for optical services through the VA. Dental is only available through the VA for veterans who are rated as 100% service connected or are hospitalized in the VA. Dental and Optical are available from the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs under the State Soldiers Assistance Program. Families must meet income and asset guidelines. Application are only available through the County Veteran Services Office.
